I also found interesting;
Of >1 million products seized, over 60% originated from Turkey (29% China)
Bulgaria had the highest value of seizures by some margin.
Seizures led to dismantling of sophisticated production facilities in various countries including Bulgaria.
Whilst 90% of products originated from China and Turkey, there were also some from Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Thailand, Vietnam, Dominican Republic, Senegal, Albania and North Macedonia.
Timely response from rights holders mentioned as important, as is raising awareness in consumers of health risks of fake products.
